![]() ![]() it will usually end back at the same need zones after some time. However, as long as you do not despawn the need zone(s) it uses via producing level 4+ hunting pressure over its need zone(s). ![]() When you kill an animal, it respawns as the same sex and at near or at the same quality as before. I figure that a diamond has to have spawned somewhere and it's time to go find out where it is and kill it as opposed to hunting the same old areas. Killing the same species out of a new herd in new areas seems to help improve the stock in the old areas to some degree. That's when I go find new areas to pester the residents. Interesting enough, I find high scoring animals less frequently (in the areas I used to find them) the higher I get in levels despite having several active need zones in those areas. Actually, it's been very rare that it's happened at all, but it has happened. I have had 2 diamonds generate/spawn in areas where I killed a diamond before but it's not happened in all areas I've killed diamonds before. That's my opinion after a couple thousand hours of play spread out over 5 maps. If there is a way to "force" a diamond to spawn only the devs know how and they are not telling. Animals do not grow older and bigger as time goes on, nor is there any substantiated proof (that I'm aware of) that killing animals of any level will result in a higher level animal being consistently spawned to replace the those that are killed. ![]()
